Eleonore Giovanna Gassion (エレオノール・ジョヴァンナ・ガション) is a witch of the League of Nations Air Forces Aviation Magic Band Luminous Witches, originating from Gallia. Her nickname is Ellie. Her familiar's name is Rio.
Background[]
Born in the Gallian countryside, Ellie had a idyllic childhood growing up. All of this changed at the outbreak of war and she along with her family were forced to evacuate as Gallia fell. Upsettingly, she was forced to leave behind the family cat who had been with her since childhood.
At some point, she ended up as a nurse at a military hospital where she would befriend Aira, who was recovering for injuries from battle. It was during a routine check up that Ellie noticed a cat and after attempting to befriend it, she noticed a wolf appear behind her. Initially frightened, Aria explained that the wolf was her familiar and was surprised that Ellie could see him too. It was at this time that Ellie learned of her witch abilities but due to this late discovery, she was unable to participate in combat.
Personality[]
Despite being often considered a peculiar individual due to her frank and direct manner of speech and behaviour, Ellie remains unaffected by such perceptions. Her calm demeanour rarely wavers, as she maintains a keen awareness of her surroundings and displays a maturity beyond her years. She possesses a compassionate nature, unable to ignore others in distress, and shares a close friendship with Aira. Additionally, she is often observed satisfying her constant craving for snacks during moments of rest.

Within the unit, she serves as the vocal sub-leader/second vocalist, and she can also talk to cats.
Equipment[]
The Music Squadron uses the AT-6 Texan Striker Units, a trainer made in Liberion. This Striker is used in the Britannian Commonwealth as well and nicknamed "Harvard" there[1].

- Surprisingly, Ellie, being a nurse, is incredibly dexterous, which explains why she ranks as the second best in performing housework. While she isn't one to be finicky about her duties, she does have a preference for tasks that are relatively effortless.[2].
