Strike Witches: Kiseki no Rondo was an online gacha game developed by Super Appli for mobile and web browsers. Service for the app has ended as of February 28, 2018.
This game features the 501st Joint Fighter Wing members, as well as Hanna-Justina Marseille, Takei Junko, Suwa Amaki and Karibuchi Hikari. The 502nd Joint Fighter Wing members also appeared in a few group cards.
Story[]
The game's story follows the anime's first season up to the liberation of Gallia. More side stories based on other characters were added in the Blitz version, such as an Africa campaign.
Gameplay[]
This game was a gacha card game in which items or real money could be spent to draw attack and support cards of the characters. There were also events with new cards that could be obtained by completing the event objectives.
AP (aerial points) and BP (boss points) were used to play missions and boss battles. When the gauges were empty, the player would have to wait for them to either refill over time, or use refill items to refill them instantly. The missions usually began with a short visual novel type story phase, then moved to turn-based combat with 2D graphics. Characters and cards had different special abilities that could be used in combat.
The cards could be leveled by completing missions or by consuming certain items. Equipment, such as weapons and Striker Units, could also be enhanced using in-game points.
Releases[]
The game launched for smartphone platforms in 2015, and for PC browsers and the GREE platform in 2016. A new version of the game, titled Strike Witches: Kiseki no Rondo Blitz, launched for the DMM Games platform in June 2016. The new version contained an updated interface, new scenarios, illustrations, special effects and music, as well as new game functions like the bath. The game was later released on the Yahoo! Game platform in April 2017. Service has ended for both the original game and the Blitz version as of February 28 2018 at 12:00 PM.
