Familiar[]
Based on her appearance in the image of her at night battling a neuroi, it appears that her familiar is a bat. Also a recent image from artist Shin Kyogoku who drew the Strike Witches 1.5 manga seems to support this belief as her familiar appears to be a vampire bat. https://twitter.com/shin_kyogoku/status/316566239860367360

I have scans of the WW article, and it definitely doesn't say anything about bats. Her familiar is a wolf. A witch with a vampire bat familiar would be cool, though... (And incidentally, Transylvania is still part of Ostmark in the SW universe. That's why Dacia looks like it's missing a chunk compared to real-world Romania.)
